I've been in a general state of hiatus as far as my photography work has been concerned. Why? Well on the positive side I went to Japan for three weeks which was an amazing experience I will be hard pressed to forget. There are hundreds of photos from the trip I haven't even looked at and I've been back for more then a week now.
On the less positive sides of things are school, work, and general life upheaval thrown in to the mix just to make things interesting. To start with my fiancées family store was ruined due to side effects of firefighting in the unit above it. That was all kinds of fun 3 days before we left for Japan. To make a long story short their lease was terminated, they have no store front, and well they're fucked. Continuing on the path of turmoil my teachers jerked me around regarding my trip to Japan and the consequences of that regarding my continuing in their classes upon my return. I'll just say it isn't ending well. So here I am amid the crisis that is my fiancées store, the shambles of this semesters schooling, oh and did I mention unemployed? There are talks of starting anew with her store someplace else far far away (ok not that far away but still a rather drastic shift). At which I could/would be part of the team making the monies selling stuff to the hyper-rich.
In the time being what shall I be doing? I have no fracking idea however my guess is editing photos on my computer will not be on the top of my list of things I have time for. So I finally get to where I was going with all this in the beginning. Not that my posting record has been a stellar example of consistency but in the coming weeks possibly months I would have to say that I will most certainly be posting less then the norm.
